Tux Paint is an open source, volunteer-driven project. One way you can help contribute is by preparing artwork to be used in Tux Paint as Stamps (as well as Brushes and Starters, or even sound effects).

This page is meant to be a repository of artwork that's either been directly contributed to Tux Paint, or existing works that may be used in Tux Paint (Public Domain works, Creative Commons Share-Alike (CC-SA) version 3, etc.).

Works that end up here need preparation before they can be placed in the Tux Paint Stamps collection or Tux Paint itself. Photographs usually need background scenery removed; images need cropping and/or resizing; sound effects need to be edited and compressed; etc.

Who can help?

If you're an artist or a photographer, you can contribute your work to us here, and volunteers will eventually prepare it for use in Tux Paint.

We also appreciate help finding content. Sites like Wikimedia Commons and Flickr, and some governments' agencies, contain content which may be used in Tux Paint.

Finally, volunteers are needed who can prepare content for Tux Paint — people proficient in graphics tools such as Photoshop or The GIMP, for example.
